After contacting a couple of different companies who were booked i was referred to this company. Jeffrey answered right away and was able to get me serviced for an after hour emergency. First I want to say Jeffery was very attentive to my issues and made sure I was able to get someone out right away (I had a building with no water) within 45 min he had a crew (aaron and kanai?) Come out. Within an hour and half water was up and running. Both of them were great, had an excellent sense of humor and kept me informed every step of the way. I normally don't have the best experience with technicians for after hour emergencies but these two were easy to go along with. I'll definitely be going with them for any future needs I have for my property ~ Carlos m

I am very happy with our experience with P & S on a couple of fronts. We sprung a leak in 40 yr old copper under the house and needed emergency service. Michael was out same day to patch it up. After we both spent some time under there, it was clear that we really needed to replace it all so the owner came out for a bid a couple of days later. The bid was a little more than I had expected, but I was happy with the first job so I gave the go ahead. Michael was back out a week later and the full replacement went a little quicker and easier than planned so the final bill was 1/3 less than the bid. Who ever comes in under time and under the bid?!?! I could not be happier with both the service and the result. ~ The H

P&S Plumbing is incredibly responsive. I have had two plumbing emergencies and they responded immediately on both issues. The first was a leak from my condo into the floor below me. They responded and made the repair very promptly and professionally. We also had Airbnb guests and the water got turned off for repairs at the complex. The complex forgot to turn the hot water back on. Gary, the owner, responded to my call on a Saturday night, did a Facetime call with the guests, and got the hot water back on. He refused payment, saying he wouldn't charge for just a phone call. This place provides a level of customer services that is really difficult to find in the modern era. 5 stars for sure!! ~ Captain R

We live on the big island of Hawaii. We were blessed to have discovered P & S Plumbing after our contractor left us. Gary the owner was so kind and personable. He understood our dire situation & he immediately worked us into their schedule. Despite our address being over an hour away, he had 2 of his plumbers, Zach & Jeremy come to our home and Gary personally also came to our home and together, they all rescued us hooking up our new faucets, toilets, showers, tub, sinks, dishwasher and rain shower. All 3 of them were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, thorough, prepared, professional, knowledgable, polite, reasonable and honorable. We are so grateful to all of them. My family and I are so grateful for Gary Taylor and his crew. Great bunch of guys who knows what they're doing. I just bought a pre-owned home in Hawaiian homestead moved in about a week then drains start backing up. The house sat vacant for years. Called P n S plumbing. Had to make a makeshift shower n toilet. Wash dishes outside with a hose. Still blessed like we were camping. What we thought would be a easy fix turned out to be an expensive fix. Main sewer pipe cracked filled with rocks. Excavation was required. They did a great job in the end. When it was time to talk money, this man with a big heart had donated his time and money. Speechless! Felt lije crying. Gary Taylor and P and S plumbing you are a blessing to our family. I recommend this company 100 percent to anyone who needs plumbing help. I wish I could give 10 stars! PnS Plumbing is hands down the BEST plumbing service company on the Big Island! They have installed two toilets for me now and they were so prompt (showed up when they claimed they would...not easy to get such level of service living on an island) and they know plumbing! And they know customer service. Matthew literally left the bathroom cleaner than he found it :)! Gary and Christine run a tight ship and are still ultra friendly while doing so! I will ONLY use PnS Plumbing in the future as they are truly the finest plumbers on island! Do not waste your time calling anyone else if you live in Kailua Kona. Excellent service! Jeroemy from P & S Plumbing was on time, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He worked quickly focusing on getting the job done without running up the clock. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Taking the time to answer ALL of my questions about the situation and our plumbing system, he skillfully replaced our laundry feeder valves as requested which were old, frozen, and faulty. Additionally though threaded, were soldered in making a simple valve replacement job much more complicated. He explained the problem, offered options, and went to work in a timely fashion, minimizing damage, getting the job done as agreed! Very satisfied! Excellent work! ~ RPj1956

We were very fortunate to have the outstanding team of Aaron and Mike come to give us an estimate of the replacement of our main shutoff valve.They were very friendly and respectful in explaining to us in layman’s language what was involved in the valve replacement. They reported on time on the day of the scheduled repair. Aaron and Mike worked well together in completing the job in the allotted time despite working in rainy weather. Also, there was only minimal water shutoff time. Aaron and Mike are professional, knowledgeable and nice…. a great team in doing an outstanding job. Would definitely call and ask for them again for future plumbing needs! ~ C F

P&S Plumbing was a pleasure to work with from the first phone call to the final conversation with Dayton. Beth took my initial call and was sympathetic to my circumstance. She requested photographs and we set up an appointment. When my dentist contacted me to confirm my appointment time, I discovered I had double scheduled it. I called back to the P&S office, another equally pleasant woman answered the phone and promised me that she would get Dayton on the road in plenty of time for me to make my dentist appointment. He arrived early with enough time to fix my plumbing problem, pet my dogs, and go over the steps he took to fix my leaking shower valve. I made it to my dentist visit with lots of reasons to smile! I own two properties on the Big Island, where our water is a precious commodity. Realistically, I will have plumbing problems again. Next time I won’t need to do Google or Yelp searches. Some leaks were detected under the house that caused a great deal of angst, to be sure!! We were very pleased that Beth responded to our online request for service promptly. She was very friendly, informative, and efficient, and was able to schedule a visit within 24 hours. Dimitrios arrived on time, and we cannot say enough good about his level of expertise, his workmanship, his communication with us, and the thoroughness of the job. He was able to revamp the "mess of pipes" under the house in a day, cleaning up all of the DIY plumbing and leaving behind a very professional job. We aren't experts in the area of plumbing and can't judge the price charged, so we have to trust that this is fair. The peace of mind we now have is priceless and we will definitely call upon P & S Plumbing for our future needs, and we'll hope that Dimitrios is available when that time comes! Our house water pressure was 120 psi.. called P&S Kona— they were out the next morning..The pressure regulator had failed making our water heater leak..The service tech Dimitrios Gkasialis Explained that our regulator looked like contractor grade (big box store)plastic. Dimitrios sat down with my wife and myself giving us many options for repair (very knowleable). My wife and I feel very confident in our choice of choosing P&S plumbing Kona. Of all days our water heater goes out on Memorial Day. I Called P&S Plbg thinking they would not be answering. But they had and another customer had canceled so we jumped on it. Gary the owner returned my call promptly was able to find and pick up the one we needed. Gary’s wife had called to give us an estimated time when they’d be arriving. So 30 minutes within our window of arrival, Gary called. They arrived and took care of business. Mike & Zak are great assets to the company. Did an excellent job on picking up replacing and removal of our water heater. Gary suggested that we get a stand for the water heater, we agreed and off Zak went to pick 1 up for us. While Mike was preparing the installation of the water heater. We had also asked Gary if he had time and would change out the pressure regulator and valve and he did! Very accommodating We trusted his suggestions and are very happy we had. Very professional, friendly and a top notch company ~ Gene L

Imagine the horror when your fire hydrant fails at 1am and the resultant back pressure blows every single main water line to half your property. Water starts boiling out of the ground everywhere and you quickly go into a bit of panic mode. I got hold of Gary, the owner at P&S Plumbing, sent him a few vidoes and pictures and by 3 am he had a crew together at my property in Kona and promptly started fixing the issues. By 6am he had more crew from Hilo, and they were at my property for 4 full days!!! They never let up.....they never complained.....they just got on with the job. It is obvious there is a lot of mutual respect between Gary and his team. They are extremely skilled at what they do and with a healthy dose of good humoured banter every team member knows instinctively what their roles are. Exceptional. From the call to scheduling, to the professionals that came out for my job. In the beginning stages of a remodel, we were tracking early and needed the plumber ‘now’. They fit us in and had 2 kind, competent plumbers at my door the next morning. Their reroute of my shower looks beautiful and solid. They listened to what I wanted and jumped right to work. Hours later, our remodel is back on track. This kind of prompt response is above typical and I am grateful for this company. Price fits in the range, and materials used are up to date quality. If you need a plumber, CALL this business!!! Not only did the owner answer the phone on the first try but got Matthew out the next day! I was very disappointed with another company that worked hard to sell me insurance policies and charge through the nose, but I could not get anyone else to respond at the time. Amazing service! Demitros and the office staff at P & S were wonderful. I have had such a hard time finding a good and reasonable plumber in Kona and was pleasantly surprised when they answered my call and scheduled our job right for the next day. Both the plumber and office staff were very friendly and cared about giving good service. Demitros was very professional, and did a great job repairing our leaking copper pipe near our water meter. Called P&S spoke with Sharlene explained the problem I was having with my kitchen drain. Asked for their service and estimate. Sharlene was able to get back to me once she had one of the plumbers available, gave me a time frame of when plumber would be expected and he was here earlier then the actual time given. Words cannot express how much my family and I really appreciate these hard working, diligent professionals who took care of a disaster of our whole system drainage problem. It was a nightmare. No use of our toilets, sinks, basins, showers. Complete showdown due to massive blockage in the underground pipes. It took 3 days to fix and these guys never gave up. The only plumbers we will use. Time and time again Gary and his crew come through for us. We run a 128 unit affordable housing complex in Kailua-Kona. The housing project is approx. 50 years old so plumbing issues are constant. Gary and the team just worked though the night to fix a collapsed sewer-line that affected 20 of our units. Luckily our tenants were only out of water for one night due to the tenacity of their work ethic. Don't search around for another plumber, just call these guys. ~ Tony B

I hired P & S Plumbing to install a new 50 gallon water tank I purchased from Lowes. Bo arrived and brought my new tank up to the house after taking the old one out, that he later disposed of. Bo was friendly, efficient and knew exactly what he was doing! It takes a lot to impress me but this young man did!!! If I could give him a rating it would be 10+++!!! I have managed 3 large retail shopping centers on the Big Island and have used P&S Plumbing exclusively for over 5 years. The relationship started on Christmas day 2019 when we had a major pipe break in one of the centers. I called P&S Plumbing and the owner was on site in less than 30 minutes and fixed the break. I have used P&S Plumbing 6 times now. They have installed an outdoor shower for me, fixed numerous toilets for me at various properties, and repaired my sewer line in an emergency. I would not use anyone else! They have been very professional. They send out employees that know their job. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable, and I always get a very fair price!
